Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Ingrid, spent her early years working closely with her father repairing farm vehicles and machinery. Her first jobs out of high school were as a bookkeeper and corporate financial clerk. She then graduated with a BA from the University of South Africa and moved into teaching, mainly computer applications and business studies at the high school level. Moving to Canada in 2000, Ingrid returned to administration for several years before finding her niche in vehicle maintenance and repairs. She spent some time in heavy duty automotive service and repairs before diversifying into the light vehicle industry where she has really discovered a satisfying career in automobile customer service.
Ingrid is passionate about vintage cars and is at present restoring an MGB as well as a Farmall tractor which she drove raking hay off the fields in her early teens. She is currently completing the theoretical requirements as an Automotive Service Technician in Canada and the practical requirements as a Service Advisor in the new technological era of modern vehicles.
Ingrid’s cheerful personality, knowledge and experience are a true asset to the Andy’s Auto Center Team of professionals and assure our clients of the high level of quality and excellent service they can expect to receive.
